TV reporting workshop: A turning point for betterment
Three weeks long television reporting training (November 29th to December 17th 2010) jointly organized by Television Journalist Association of Nepal and German based DW Akademie is accomplished in Kathmandu.
After the training program, a participant, Senior Sub-editor Surendra Pandey, working at Kantipur TV, said that the training was very fruitful to enhance his skill. He also added that International level training is essential to such our country where the media is growing.
Miss Sanu Khadka, participant, Visual editor at Avenues TV, said that training program helps her to know more about the sequences of visuals and reporting and camera work.
Miss Bipana Upadhyaya, reporter at Image Channel, viewed that the intensive course of TV reporting will help to make reports more effective. She also said that the training is turning point to her career for better.
Mr. Yemen Poudyal, reporter at ABC TV, said that he has not been ever such an international training. He was delighted to be a participant of the training program. He thanks to DW Akademie and TVJ Nepal.

Global Communication Order: The Making of media power
Sino-Nepal Relations: Harmonious Friendship a seminar jointly organized by Television Journalists Association of Nepal-TVJ, Institute of Foreign Affairs Nepal, and Tsinghua University International Center for Communication, Beijing China on August 26,2010 in Kathmandu was a huge success and it was appreciated by policy makers, journalists and media researchers. A total of 100 policy makers, journalists, researchers and experts participated in the seminar. The key note speaker for the seminar was Prof. Li Xiguang, President, Tsinghua University International Center for Communication.
